This is a rare chance to learn how to play steel pans.

Participants will learn a selection of tunes over the block and will have the opportunity to play in front of family and friends at an informal sharing at the last session.

The workshop sessions are suitable for those with no musical experience but will also suit those with a background in music looking for a new challenge.

The course will be taught by Saltire Steel's musical lead, Maureen Howitt who holds a Bachelor in Music Education and Percussive Arts from University of Florida and 17 years teaching experience.
